The museum houses over 40 emergency service related vehicles spread across 3 floors of the Victorian combined Police, Fire and Ambulance Station on West Bar in the heart of Steel City Sheffield.

Take the time to explore our Police Cells, Jump into police vehicles and get kitted up in the uniform used! Discover the vehicles, uniforms, equipment and more used by Fire Services from all over the world and get hands-on with our interactive displays!

Learn about the UK’s Ambulance Service and climb on board the vehicles used! Relax in our Coffee Shop and take a small part of your day home by visiting our Gift Shop.

There are loads to see and do at the National Emergency Services Museum for all the family!

Opening times:

School Term Time: Wednesday – Friday 10:00 – 14:00
School Holidays (based on Sheffield): Monday – Friday 10:00 – 16:00
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 – 17:00
Please note that last entry into the museum is one hour before closing and Fire Engine Rides are available most weekends.
