About Us
This site has been set up by the Penistone & District Community Partnership.
The Penistone & District Community Partnership was started in 2002 by a group of local people, keen to improve the area.
The Partnership received charitable status early in 2006, and became a member of the Development Trust Association in March 2007.
The Partnership depends on local people, their ideas, commitment and support.

This project is suppported by the Rural Target Fund of the Objective 1 Programme for South Yorkshire. Part-financed by the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund of the European Union and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Yorkshire Rural Community Council manages the Rural Target Fund.
The Visit Penistone website site is currently maintained and updated on a voluntary basis.
