There's something going all all year round...

Penistone and most of the surrounding towns and villages hold many and varied annual events.

Some, such as the Penistone Show have been well-established for several generations but there's always something new on the horizon.

The quick reference calendar below will be updated regularly and more detailed information for each event will appear closer to the date.

Some events have their own websites so please visit them for up-to-the-minute information, or consult the local press.

Please check with venues to make sure events are still going ahead before you set off.

The Cawthorne Victoria Jubilee Museum will open for the 2009 season every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 2 - 5p.m. until 1st November.

Although small, the Victoria Jubilee Museum has a wide range of exhibits and is well worth a visit.
