There's something going all all year round...
Penistone and most of the surrounding towns and villages hold many and varied annual events.
Some, such as the Penistone Show have been well-established for several generations but there's always something new on the horizon.
The quick reference calendar below will be updated regularly and more detailed information for each event will appear closer to the date.
Some events have their own websites so please visit them for up-to-the-minute information, or consult the local press.

In 2008 Millennium Galleries plays host to the work of Vivienne Westwood, one of the most influential fashion designers of the last 30 years. On tour internationally since 2004, this is the only chance to see the V&A’s blockbuster exhibition in the UK before it closes.
