Our location also provides a great base for exploring the many attractions Yorkshire has to offer. The famous Bronte County of West Yorkshire is within easy reach by car. Sheffield Meadowhall shopping centre is less than half an hour away.

The picturesque market town of Penistone with its many amenitieis is within walking distance or just a short drive away. Here you will find access to the Trans Pennine Trail.

The village of Hoylandswaine itself offers local pubs, cricket club and bowling green, church, chapel and village hall.

Nearby are the beautiful villages of Cawthorne with Country Park, Museum, Fishing Lake, Open Farm and Cafes and Silkstone Village with its Wagon Way and Garden Centre.
The local bus stops close to the site giving you easy access to Barnsley, Holmfirth, Penistone and Stocksbridge.

Adjacent to the site is a Rally field which has access to public footpaths.

By Road:

Leave M1 at junction 37. Take A628 towards Manchester. The site is on the left hand side before Hoylandswaine village and just before the Lord Nelson public house.

By Public Transport

From Barnsley Transport Interchange take the 92 Bus.
There are train stations at Penistone and Barnsley both just a few miles from the site.
