Details
Orchard camping is a small family run campsite ideally situated at the edge of the Pennines. Based in Penistone, South Yorkshire we are surrounded by beautiful scenery, fantastic bike routes and a range of walks.
We offer camping pitches for 6 tents on a regular basis but can extend to accommodate more for large parties or special occasions. The campsite is situated on the A629 Halifax Road and is 1 mile north of the busy little market town of Penistone.
Orchard camping is situated on an elevated site with fantastic views, overlooking the town of Penistone and the beginning of the Peak District National Park.
Directions
By Road:
Travelling from the South or from the North – exit the M1 at junction 37 onto the A628 for approx. 4 miles. Turn right at main traffic Island where the A628 meets the A629 onto Halifax Road and follow for approximately half a mile. Orchard Camping is situated on the left. Take care as not to pass as entrance is just after the bend.
