Northern College is housed in the splendid setting of Wentworth Castle, in the village of Stainborough, near Barnsley.
Although the magnificent Grade 1 listed, 17th century building with its inevitable chequered past has had a number of additions, alterations and owners over the years, its splendour is unimpaired and its facilities unlike any other.
All food is freshly prepared in the college’s own kitchens and can be taken in the main dining room, with its gilded columns and magnificent paintings.
The college also boasts the beautiful blue room as a coffee lounge and has a private licensed bar in the newly restored Long Barn.
The College offers a wide variety of accommodation ranging from basic student bedrooms with shared facilities to new en-suite bedrooms with TV’s.
All areas of campus have disabled access and facilities and we offer ample free parking in our secure car park.
