Founded in 1959 PSC is based at Winscar Reservoir, an open water of about 120 acres, located at Dunford Bridge. We have exclusive use of Winscar for dinghy sailing and wind surfing, and the reservoir provides unobstructed steady wind, good racing courses in most wind directions, and delightful views of the Pennine scenery.
The new Clubhouse, opened by HRH The Princess Royal in 1993, includes a large club room, galley, spacious heated changing rooms and hot showers. There is ample car parking and berthing for boats.

Racing is held on Sundays from late March to November, some Saturdays and every Thursday evening from May to August. Casual sailing may be organised on Saturdays and weekday evenings.
