There are plenty of restaurants and takeways in and around Penistone, so whatever your taste, there's bound to be something for you.

There's traditional fish and chips, Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants and takeaways, good pub food, cafes, local produce...for such a small town there's quite a variety.

And of course, if you're on a self-catering holiday, this means that you don't have to be tied to the kitchen.

Penistone is surrounded by agricultural land and consequently, you can get excellent local food produce here. Like most areas, you sometimes have to search for it, but the effort is certainly worth the reward. There are local farm shops, and a Farmers' Market every month.
