Cubley Hall has evolved through the centuries from being a moor land farm on the Pennine pack horse routes of the 1700’s to a fine Gentleman’s residence set in 4 acres of grounds during the reign of Queen Victoria.
A children's home post-war and more recently in 1983 Cubley Hall was transformed into the well known freehouse pub.
1990 saw the addition of the renowned carvery restaurant, converted from the massive oak beamed, hewn stone barn.
In 1996 the Hall was extended to incorporate the hotel which has been sympathetically designed to complement and enhance the original architectural features, mosaic floors, stained galss, old oak panelling and ornate plaster ceilings.
